The dazzling sequel to SEGA’s hit endless runner, SONIC DASH. Over 140 million downloads. Now featuring the cast and world of the new TV series, SONIC BOOM!
Collect power orbs to upgrade your characters. Gold rings are the currency used to buy improvements and new characters. The game also sets mini-challenges that reward players with extra prizes when they meet certain requirements such as achieving a high score or collecting a specified amount of red rings.
Super Sonic
The game features a variety of levels and obstacles that the player must overcome, along with enemies and boss battles. Players can use power-ups to help them defeat opponents and achieve higher scores. The game also includes missions and a rank system that rewards players with prizes based on their performance.
Players can choose to play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, or Amy. Each character has unique abilities that help them tackle different challenges. For example, Sonic can curl into a ball and attack enemies directly in front of him. Knuckles can jump higher and deal damage to enemies below him.
Unlike the first Sonic Dash, the gameplay in Sonic Dash 2 is a bit more complicated. The game uses a new scoring system where players earn points by running distances, completing combos, and killing enemies. In addition, each character has its multiplier that increases one aspect of the score if used during runs.
Power Up Boxes
In Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom, you can collect power-ups to help you speed up and destroy enemies. You can also unlock new characters and use gold rings to purchase upgrades and special power-ups.
The game features a redesigned 3D world and a cast of characters from the Sonic Boom TV series. You can play Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles “Tails” Prower, Amy Rose, Knuckles the Echidna, and Sticks the Badger. You can use the characters’ specialized abilities to overcome obstacles and defeat badniks.
The special IAP-currency Red Rings return, although they are far easier to get freely here than in the original game. They can be used to unlock additional character slots, buy more room for equipable sprites (which are companions that offer various benefits during a run), or handle specific ‘upgrade hurdles’ that you’ll encounter. The game also offers a far more sane way to skip special-challenge levels than in the previous title, as well as to purchase replays of Zone runs.
Air Boost Shoes
When you pick these up from the first Point Marker, you can use the drop dash trick to run faster and reach new heights of speed. Considering that the entire Sonic Frontiers experience involves traversing various terrain, such as forests and bridges to other lands, this ability is an essential piece of equipment for getting to your destination.
Despite being outmatched in speed by Metal Sonic, the Egg Chasers, and even the redesigned Motobugs in Colors, Sonic finds joy in running fast. After all, he’s already ridden the wings of biplanes and surfboards, raced in go-karts and air cars, and used hang-gliders to enjoy the feeling of speed.
Despite being a hardware tech whiz, Eggman simply can’t seem to come up with a way to stop Sonic from using his power. So instead, he either mass-produces cheap models like the Badniks and Egg Pawns (who he calls “worthless consumer models”) or uses his nastier moves as a last resort.
Item Boxes
There are several ways to get Item Boxes in Sonic Dash 2. These items can help players improve their performance, unlock characters and purchase replays of Zone runs. To earn these items, players must collect Red Star Rings, which are available during runs on race courses and can be earned in small amounts each day or purchased through microtransactions.
The game is an endless runner, which means that the objective is to run as far as possible while collecting rings and defeating enemies. While the gameplay is largely similar to other Endless runners, it has a distinct Sonic coat of paint with familiar characters and environments.
Players can also use gold rings to upgrade their character. These upgrades can give them a boost in their score, the ability to take more damage, or even the ability to destroy enemies with one touch. They can also activate sprites, which are magical creatures that provide additional assistance.
